My Everyday Makeup and Skincare Routine – Minimal
I thought I would write a little post today about my minimal makeup and skincare. To be honest I probably wear makeup once a week, sometimes it’s different but the majority of the time I do not wear it.
I always use the Sanctuary Spa Illuminating Moisture Lotion SPF15 every single day without fail. This smells divine and leaves my skin feeling and looking fresh, a bonus is that it has SPF in it.
I have been trying out the L’Oreal Infallible Luminzing Primer, it gives a nice glow but I’m unsure about how great it is as a primer… for only 20ml of product I think it is quite expensive priced at £8.99.
If I’m only wearing minimal makeup then I will only use minimal skincare. So finally for skincare I used the Rimmel Insta Fix and Go 2 in 1 primer and setting spray.
So I don’t normally wear foundation most days, I normally just use concealer. Firstly I will use the Makeup Revolution Define and Conceal Concealer in the shade C2 which I have been loving ever since I got it. I need to pick it up in more shades but it is out of stock everywhere! This gives me great coverage to be fair especially alongside the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in ‘Extra Fair 0’ which I also used.
Then I will lightly set that concealer as I don’t want to just rub it off! To do this I normally use the Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in ’52 Vanilla’ which is my holygrail powder.
Next I used the Mac ProLongwear Blush in ‘Baby Don’t Go’ I absolutely love this. It is a blush but I use it as more of a contour/bronzer and I find it works really well. It is the perfect cheek colour for me.
Then I used the L’Oreal Paris Brow Artist Xpert in the shade 102 Blond I like this, it easily fills in my brows.
I then set my brows with the Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Gel in ‘004 Clear’
Finally makeup wise is highlighter, now for this I normally use the Benefit Dandelion Twinkle Highlighter but recently I have been using the L’Oreal Infallible Highlighter stick in ‘503 Slay in Rose’ which I have been loving. I normally use my finger to apply it rather than straight on my face (I used this before powder btw!).
Finally I used a Carmex in ‘Peach and Mango Burst’ I love Carmex, they help dry lips so quickly.
The final look –
