Things I’m proud of myself for this month – February Goals Review

I thought every month I would go through my goals that I made at the end of 2017 (Link to that post HERE.

These were my February Goals:

February is my Mum’s Birthday. I hope to give her the best Birthday ever. Also as mentioned above I will hopefully go up to Scotland to see Dom!

So my first goal was to give my Mum the best birthday ever, I hope my Sister and I achieved that! We took her for a meal the day before then on her Birthday had a takeaway on her Birthday evening! She had a Miss Millies cookie for a cake and also some cupcakes. Present wise we bought her a Cath Kidston bag, some new shoes and other things. All in all I think we did a great job.

Sadly I didn’t get up to Scotland to see Dom however we have just booked a trip to Spain to go and see his parents and friends in April, hopefully it works out okay! My anxiety has been sky high ever since booking it. I also wasn’t able to see him as I was planning to go up right at the end of the month (Feb/March) and my Grandad unfortunately passed away at the end of January and his funeral will be when I would’ve been away so even though I am unsure about attending the funeral I still would like to be home if that makes sense.

One thing I’m proud of myself for this month as I’ve had an interview and I’m going to start volunteering for Off The Record, just a few hours each week helping out with admin. My Doctor advised me to do some volunteering so I’ve taken it in my stride and I finally am, I’m looking forward to see the benefits of this for me socially.

Also I managed to roll out the blog posts, a few I made in particular I’m super proud of. I’ve also started posting on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays instead of every other day.

I also just started volunteering for Off The Record, just 3 hours a week however already it has boosted my confidence and mental health. I’m so proud of myself and can’t wait to get started!

Thank you so much for reading, see you tomorrow for a post giving some Mother’s Day Ideas!
