As yesterday was my sisters birthday we decided to take a trip to the Swindon Outlets with my Dad. From where I live it’s about a 30/40 minute drive which isn’t so bad with an aux cord connected to my Spotify and sunny weather is involved!
When we arrived we decided to have a KFC, classy I know 😉 after that we started shopping! firstly we stopped in Superdry which continued on to The Body shop, Jack Wills, Paperchase, Yankee candle, New Balance, The cosmetic company… also a much needed trip to costa half way round!
There are a variety of shops at the Swindon Outlets which I like as it fits any audience especially families. There are a lot of more-designer-like, more-upmarket shops such as Jaeger, Ralph Lauren, Ted Baker, Hugo Boss, Henry Lloyd and Guess. Whereas there are also shops such as Claires accessories, Paperchase, The Body Shop and Monsoon ect.
But of course I couldn’t go to a place like this and not buy anything so here goes…
Firstly from Jack wills I bought a new pair of plain black leggings which are genuinely the COMFIEST item of clothing I own! They were
originally £24.50 but were reduced down to £16.
After that we popped in The Cosmetic Company which is where I spent the most money. They sell MAC which is the most popular; Estee Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox and also a few more. All three of the products I bought were from MAC surprise surprise…. So I picked up MAC Studio fix fluid first, I’ve never tried MAC foundation as could never justify spending the money but I thought I should make a little splurge! It was £16.50 instead of £23.50. After that I got a retro matte liquid lipstick in the shade ‘Tailored to tease’, the colour is vibrant and I thought would look lovely in summer! Then finally I got a classic MAC lipstick in the shade ‘Flamingo’, This is a coral, pinky kind of colour which also I thought would be LOVELY for summer!
Then we popped in New Balance as my dad wanted to look for some new shoes, however I ended up buying a pair of shoes…. I’ve had New Balance trainers before and they are SO comfy so I decided to go ahead and purchase a pair! They were £38.50 instead of £55.
Finally, my sister and I popped into The Body Shop which is tradition whenever we go to Swindon! I picked up a set from their ‘Drops Of Youth’ range. This included ‘Wonderblur’ which claims to reduce the appearance of lines and pores and also the ‘Bouncy Sleeping Mask’ which is kind of like a moisturiser/face mask that you put on before you sleep and it gives moisture to your skin whilst left on over night. Im looking forward to trying both out as part of my skin care routine.
Thanks, R x
